Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Apply airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management knowledge in a fast-paced PACU environment
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in preoperative and extended care units as needed
• Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as required, provided requisite job qualifications are met
• Complete non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required by unit and specialty

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License – must be in hand at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum 5 years of total RN experience, including at least 3 years of PACU experience
• Teaching hospital experience required
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN or CPAN certification
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
