This is a rare opportunity to join our team! LDV is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and possess strong prioritization and time management skills. Responsibilities will include a variety of duties with a focus on recruiting. Job responsibilities include: Execute all functions of recruiting including job posting, pre-employment screening, background checks, interviewing, and employee on-boarding and new hire orientation. Maintain government reporting and affirmative action plan Participate in the safety program and safety team, and conduct employee safety training Manage worker’s compensation claims Address employee relations issues and questions Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures, pay plans, employee benefits, employment laws, and communicate regularly with employees and management to ensure understanding and compliance Schedule and manage company/employee events Participate in a team of receptionist back-ups Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Candidates should have these qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources and/or experience in Human Resources.
