Title: Computer Operators
Duration: 2 years
Location: Jamaica, NY 11434
Shift Timings: Mon-Fri (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Pay: USD 22/hr-USD 24/hr

Position summary:
Provide operational and administrative support by monitoring and controlling computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other operational data.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and operate computer systems and peripheral electronic data processing equipment.
Process business, scientific, engineering, and operational data according to established instructions and procedures.
Prepare, edit, format, proofread, and finalize documents using word processing software.
Review documents for accuracy in grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and arithmetic calculations.
Create and maintain spreadsheets, charts, graphs, reports, and presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in computer operations, administrative support, word processing, or data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
Ability to proofread and correct documents accurately.

Preferred Qualification:

Experience with electronic data processing systems and computer operations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and document formatting skills.
Experience creating charts, graphs, spreadsheets, reports, and web-based content.
Familiarity with database systems and document management software.
