Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, assessing their needs through comprehensive evaluations and thorough examinations. \n
- Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. \n
- Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists, to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans that align with client goals. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest mental health research and best practices. \n
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and communication regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes. \n
You will primarily work with individuals and families who have limited access to care and are struggling with a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will guide clients toward healthier coping mechanisms and improved emotional well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Active and unrestricted professional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington. \n
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling is mandatory. \n
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing counseling practices. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse client base. \n
