We have big plans for the future, and we hope you'll be part of what comes next.Why This Role MattersPerforms various duties to service members and other WCU business areas regarding loan servicing for consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.The difference between a Loan Servicing Specialist I and II are largely determined by one or more of the following qualifications:Years of loan servicing experienceLevel of expertise performing essential job responsibilitiesLevel of independent judgementLevel of organizational restraintWhat You'll ContributeLoan Servicing Specialist IProvides members, co-workers and attorneys/closing agents with daily payoff quotes for mortgages and Home Equities, process payoff transactions in accordance with established regulationsMonitors tickets and emails related to loan servicing on a daily basis and provides follow up as requiredPerforms intake and distribution of Loan Operations mailPrepares, records, and completes mortgage dischargesSubservicing support within respective area of dutiesMaintains confidentiality of all dataDemonstrates behaviors as defined by the Credit Union's culture programLoan Servicing Specialist IIProvides support of duties and responsibilities to Loan Servicing Specialist IPosts home equity loans to the core processing system on a daily basis and disburses payoffs accordinglyFunds closing agents on a daily basisPosts first mortgage residential and commercial loansMonitors the receipt of closing documents and files original loan notesPerforms GL balancing on funding GLsPerforms all necessary transactions on the core processing system in relation to sold loansReviews subserviced investor reporting and resolves variancesOther Duties:May be asked to provide coverage in other WCU branches or departments.Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.Participates in department and/or organizational projects as directed.Performs other tasks or functions as required, requested, necessary or prudent.Maintains confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data.Regularly demonstrates behaviors as defined by the credit union's Fundamentals, which are part of the Workers Way culture program.What You'll BringHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Required.Banking Experience RequiredLoan Servicing Experience is Required for Lvl 2How You'll WorkHybrid Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with regular on-site days at the Littleton Headquarters.
