Security Officer Reception Specialist

Security Officer Reception Specialist (Omaha, NE) Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM; Friday, Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM; Sunday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers at the front desk by following site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies for a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, checking identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals according to post instructions. Answer phones, handle inquiries, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, appointments, and/or visitor arrivals in a courteous and professional manner. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel or emergency services when needed. Complete required reports, document front desk activity, and support emergency response activities and other security‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
