Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit serving adult patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, stroke/TIA, and stable post-cardiac cath presentations
• Monitor patients remotely via the Hicuity remote telemetry monitoring system
• Administer and manage specialty drips including Cardizem (non-titratable), Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, and Lasix
• Operate specialized equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Covidien Feeding Pumps, and Zebra portable phones
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and holidays as they fall
• Float within specialty and to other units within scope as required; travelers are first to float

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN License or active Compact License at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry or Stepdown nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring systems
• Familiarity with cardiac drip management and titration protocols
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to float and adapt quickly
