Job Title: Med/Surg-Tele RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Experience in a rapid admission unit Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a medical/surgical telemetry unit. The unit has a 10 bed capacity and functions as an admission unit. Patients include general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. Candidates should be able to manage a patient ratio of 5:1. The role requires candidates who can adapt to a faster patient turnover than typical medical/surgical units. A complete work history with no gaps greater than 60 days is necessary. Candidates must submit a skills checklist, references, and certification cards. Nursys license verification is also required.
