Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident, including assessing and evaluating communication and swallowing disorders Conduct speech therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to improve communication skills, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and communication Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques, communication strategies, and techniques for swallowing disorders Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment plans About the Role: As a Speech Therapist at Lake Placid Health & Rehab, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
