The Workers Compensation Paralegal plays a crucial solo role in managing injury claim cases and supporting settlement negotiations. This position involves regular communication with clients and the preparation and organization of legal documents to ensure smooth case progression. Expertise in workers compensation law and the use of industry-standard case management software is preferred to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage workers compensation claims from initiation to resolution
- Prepare and organize legal documents related to injury claims and settlements
- Maintain case files and ensure accurate documentation
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and requirements
- Support court filing processes and related administrative tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of workers compensation law
- Experience in legal document drafting
