Maintenance Technician I

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the clinic facilities operating and repairing any problems before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Here's a sneak peek at what you will do: Preventative maintenance to regularly inspect equipment and facilities to avoid breakdowns Troubleshooting, diagnosing, adjusting, and fixing equipment issues to minimize downtime. Performing general repairs including replacing worn parts, fixing structural damage (window, door or wall repair), fixing broken or leaking plumbing, replacing fixtures General electrical and HVAC maintenance and repair Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped Basic installation of new equipment, systems, furniture Ensure facilities and grounds are maintained by performing general janitorial and groundskeeping duties Work with external contractors for more significant repairs and new facility build outs Maintaining a safe environment by following protocols and recording maintenance activities.Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries What you need to succeed: A high school diploma or equivalent. General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, groundskeeping and facility systems, along with experience using diagnostic equipment and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). 1–2 years of related experience or completion of a related apprenticeship program Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication and customer service abilities Capability toliftupto100lbs, work in tight spaces, walk and stand for long periods, bend/stoop, reach overhead, climb stairs/ladders Current driver’s license and clean driving record to operate company vehicles Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Strategic, adaptable, and collaborative problem-solver who fosters a positive team environment. Flexibility to travel across different locations in and around Dallas andForth-Worth area.
