Sales Associate

POSITION SUMMARY Marina Kids is seeking an energetic, organized, and results-driven Sales Associate responsible for managing, following up with, and converting prospective customers into confirmed bookings.The Sales Associate will be one of the primary points of contact between Marina Kids and potential customers. This position will communicate with leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, website inquiries, in-person visits, events, and other sales channels, providing excellent customer service while maintaining a strong focus on closing sales.The primary objective of this position is simple: turn qualified leads into confirmed Marina Kids customers.The Sales Associate will primarily promote and sell Marina Kids experiences, including Birthday Parties, Private Events, Open Play, Special Events, Memberships, and other Marina Kids products and services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Management & Follow-Up Respond promptly and professionally to new sales inquiries received by phone, WhatsApp, email, website, social media, events, walk-ins, and other channels. Contact new leads as quickly as possible and maintain consistent follow-up until the customer books, declines, or is determined not to be a qualified opportunity. Maintain an organized pipeline of new, active, pending, and closed leads. Record customer information, preferences, event dates, follow-up activities, and sales status accurately in the company's CRM or lead-management system. Re-engage previous leads and customers when appropriate to generate additional bookings. Sales & Closing Understand each customer's needs, including event date, number and ages of children, number of guests, budget, preferences, and desired experience. Present Marina Kids packages and experiences clearly and enthusiastically. Explain pricing, package inclusions, upgrades, promotions, availability, policies, and booking requirements. Recommend the Marina Kids experience or package that best matches the customer's needs. Handle customer questions and sales objections professionally. Follow up strategically with undecided customers to move opportunities toward a decision. Create urgency when appropriate based on actual availability, promotions, or event dates. Request deposits and complete the necessary steps to convert qualified opportunities into confirmed reservations. Meet or exceed established individual and company sales goals. Phone, Email & Digital Sales Make inbound and outbound sales calls. Respond to customer emails and digital inquiries professionally and quickly. Conduct sales conversations through WhatsApp and other approved communication channels. Follow Marina Kids sales scripts, communication standards, and follow-up procedures while maintaining a natural and personalized conversation with each customer. Maintain professional grammar, spelling, tone, and brand presentation in all written communications. Events & In-Person Sales Represent Marina Kids professionally at promotional events, fairs, school activities, community events, corporate events, and other lead-generation opportunities. Engage prospective customers and explain the Marina Kids concept and services. Collect qualified customer information for future follow-up. Conduct facility tours for prospective customers when required. Follow up with event-generated leads to convert them into reservations. Customer Experience Provide a premium, friendly, and professional experience from the customer's first interaction with Marina Kids. Build trust with parents and customers by communicating clearly and accurately. Coordinate with Operations, Events, Marketing, and Management to ensure that information provided to customers is accurate. Properly transition confirmed customers from the sales process to the operations/event team. Help create long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat visits, future celebrations, referrals, and positive word-of-mouth. SALES PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS The Sales Associate will be evaluated using measurable sales KPIs, which may include: Number of leads contacted Lead response time Number of outbound calls and follow-ups Percentage of leads successfully contacted Appointments or facility tours scheduled Quotes/proposals delivered Lead-to-booking conversion rate Number of birthday parties and events booked Total sales revenue generated Deposits collected Follow-up completion rate Reactivation of previous leads Sales generated from events and outreach activities Sales Associates are expected to consistently manage their pipeline and understand how many leads they have, which opportunities are most likely to close, what follow-up is required, and what revenue is expected from their pipeline. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in sales, inside sales, hospitality, events, entertainment, customer service, or a related field preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking with customers by telephone and actively asking for the sale. Ability to follow up consistently without losing organization. Strong customer-service mentality combined with a sales-oriented approach. Ability to handle objections and negotiate professionally within company guidelines. Comfortable working with sales targets and performance KPIs. Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM, email, messaging, scheduling, and reservation systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Marina Kids team. Experience selling birthday parties, events, hospitality, family entertainment, memberships, or similar services is a plus. English required.
