Program Manager - Air Traffic Control Radars (Hybrid)

About the Role This position supports the Program Management aspects of the Radar System Replacement (RSR) program at RTX (Collins Aerospace) and works under the lead Program Manager to oversee financial, schedule, and technical performance. The role involves executing current contract work, managing future awards, and interfacing with engineering, finance, operations, supply chain, quality, and external customers and vendors. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate program activities, including interfacing with internal teams on technical performance, schedule adherence, and potential program challenges. Assess program risk and conduct risk analysis. Track program progress and ensure on‑time completion of major production milestone activities. Collaborate with a cross‑disciplinary team to support global production efforts and deployment of radars. Maintain mastery of design, development, integration, and test processes for the program. Execute strategic focus to meet delivery commitments, exceed customer satisfaction, and achieve growth plans. Communicate program status, issues, and resolution plans to all major stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and subcontractors. Identify and address program challenges, developing solutions such as resource allocation or changes to contractual specifications. Influence and negotiate with customers to achieve enterprise commitments while improving customer satisfaction. Establish high‑level customer relationships to foster long‑term collaboration. Travel approximately 25%, domestic and international. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant program management experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Prior experience in program management and in aviation and/or production domains. Experience with business and project management tools and procedures. Prior experience with Air Traffic Control radars is preferred. Highly organized and an effective leader, communicator, decision maker, and able to inspire teams to meet production targets. Travel Approximately 25% domestic and international travel required.
