Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Inpatient services is sought for a facility located in Canon City, Colorado. The position involves outpatient orthopedics, including evaluations and recurring treatments, with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates are required to bring their Colorado State PT license on the first day of assignment. This is a 26-week contractual role, and applicants must be in the state for the week of orientation.

Job Details:

• Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Required Qualifications: Colorado Physical Therapist (PT) license, BLS certification (American Heart Association), minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, proficiency in Electronic Patient Record (EPRIC) system
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Hiring process includes profile review with MedSol Clinical and interview with the unit manager at the facility.
  • Clinicians must be in the state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote.
  • The department involves management of 45-minute one-on-one treatments, evaluations, and recurring schedule needs.
  • Experience in acute inpatient, acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings is preferred.
  • The department prioritizes orthopedic cases and outpatient rehabilitation in a small community setting.
  • Shifts and patient load are as agreed upon; self-scheduling or block scheduling may be permitted.
  • Department-specific orientation will be provided.
  • Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
