Sr Accountant

LHH has partnered with an international company in search for a Sr Accountant to join their small local cohesive team. This is a great position for someone who is hands on and famliar with fixed asstes as well as overseeing accounts payables. Responsibilities of this direct hire Sr Accountant include: Manage fixed asset tracking and produce supporting schedules and reports Ensure accuracy of payables by performing 3-way match Process expense reimbursements Facilitate check runs and wire transfers Review and validate financial information through detailed spreadsheet analyses Complete account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts Prepare and record journal entries to support the monthly close process Upload and maintain monthly financial data within the company’s consolidation platform Generate intercompany billing and oversee related collections activity Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation Provide external audits assistance Help with variance analysis, preparing annual budgets, and forecasting Tax filings, including recurring sales/use tax and annual property tax reports Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of experience in accounting Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 applications, with an emphasis on Excel, as well as experience using JD Edwards Accurate and attentive to detail Organized and effective time management skills Capable of working autonomously while consistently meeting deadlines Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills Benefit offerings include competitive salary with excellent benefits; medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, and 401K plan with employer match.
