Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAutomotive Accounting Office ClerkActon Ford – Acton, MAFull-Time | Monday–FridayPosition SummaryActon Ford is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Office Clerk to support daily dealership accounting and administrative operations.We operate in a team-oriented accounting office where cross-training and collaboration are essential to supporting dealership operations. This is an IN OFFICE position.The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesProcess vehicle deals and funding packetsFile vehicle sales paperwork into deal jacketsPrepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jacketsFollow up on lien payoffs to ensure timely title returnsIssue stock numbers for new vehicle invoicesPrepare key tags, window tags, and vehicle foldersScan warranty repair orders, parts invoices, and repair orders into the DMS systemReconcile daily deposits and petty cashMaintain organized office files and recordsCommunicate with Sales, Service, and Parts departments to ensure accurate paperwork completionParticipate in cross-training and support general office operations as neededPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma required;

Associate’s degree preferred2 years of automotive, power sports, RV, or motorcycle dealership experience preferredExperience with dealership management systems (CDK or similar) preferredStrong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, reconciliations, and general ledger flowStrong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with high attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, or similar productivity platforms
