Job Description: Logistics Technician III

Location: Fairport, NY 14450

Assignment Duration: 6 Months (Approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension)

Compensation

Pay Range: $22.00

Work Schedule

Days : Thursday through Sunday

Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform production support tasks in accordance with established work instructions and procedures.
• Support production logistics by moving materials and updating transactions in production systems.
• Prepare materials for production and other logistical activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including building sanitation tasks.
• Use plant systems, including document control and manufacturing execution systems, to complete daily tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates effectively.
• Perform van runs between Building 57 and Building 430 in Fairport to transport parts and materials.
• Use Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), mobile racking, carts, and manual pallet jacks to pick and move materials safely.
• Assist with training other team members on operational procedures and responsibilities.
• Perform additional production support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable motor vehicle record requirements.
• Ability to follow work instructions, maintain accurate records, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work onsite in a cleanroom environment and wear required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or material handling.
• Experience using SAP or similar production and inventory management systems.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production support environment.
• Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Frequently lift or move materials weighing up to 5 pounds.
• Occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
• Rarely lift or move materials weighing more than 25 pounds.
• Operate manual pallet jacks and use carts to transport materials.
• Work in a cleanroom environment with required safety equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, cleanroom garments, gloves, and a face mask.
• Perform multiple van runs between facility buildings throughout the shift, depending on operational needs.
