o Experience: 2+ years

● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Surgical Patients 18 years old and under (some special needs of all ages ex: dental)
● Patient Ratios:
o RN: 1:1
● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o RN License
o BLS and PALS
● Skills required:
o OR skills - circulating surgical cases
● Support within the Department:
o CNA duties: Yes CAN- assist with VS, Glucose Checks, baths, transporting patients as needed (Hospital has designated Transport Team); obtain blood from blood bank
o Charge nurse: yes- each unit
o Phlebotomy: Nurse draws labs
o IV/VAT team: NO IV Team
o Resource nurse: No
o RT 24/7: yes
o Hospitalist 24/7: yes
o Intensivist 24/7: yes

o RTO Requests: Manager approval
o Shift times: 7a-3p; 8a-4p; 7a-4p; 8a-5p
o Schedule cycle: ex) every 6 weeks
● Other notes:
o Scrub Color: RN- Surgical Green- scrub exchange system (scrubs issued)
o Parking: Free parking lots around campus but also does have paid parking garage available - $30/month paid in advance for a total of $90 for a 13-week contract
