What ABI Resources does We help people recovering from brain injury, stroke and TBI live and recover at home. You will help people with every part of their lives, providing Connecticut community care and home-based supported living services. Responsibilities Provide personal hygiene and dressing assistance. Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments. Shop, cook, and clean with the client. Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment. Ensure consistent safety. Provide a healthy and professional friendship. Support clients with all aspects of home and community life. Schedule Full-time or part-time positions. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. Weekday and weekend schedules are available. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years of age. Driver’s license and reliable transportation, proof of insurance required. Drug screening required. One year of experience working with people with disabilities (preferred, not required). Provide a letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.
