Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and skilled Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our dynamic team of imaging professionals dedicated to delivering top-notch care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare providers, and help alleviate anxiety in patients with prompt and accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of ultrasound exams, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Assure patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step to alleviate concerns
  • Cooperate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
  • Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records using electronic medical systems
  • Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technologies
Education Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
  • Current certification awarded by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Skills Needed
  • High technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
