Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Liberty, MO

Shift: 12-hour nights, 1845–0715

Hours/week: 36-40 hours

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: MO RN, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Experience: 1+ year of PCU RN experience

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

On-call: Not required

Holidays: Will work major holidays; schedule adjustments possible

Pay rate: $88.50/hour (pre-tax, before admin fees)

Pay package: Discussed upon application

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and intervening in emergencies
• Manage patients with high acuity needs, including those on drips, arterial lines, and ventilation support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records
• Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols, including holiday shifts
• Attend scheduled orientations and clinical training

What You Need

• Valid MO RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year recent PCU RN experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and major holidays

• Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, Bipap-Airvo systems
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
