About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Operations for Cluster North, a role that is pivotal in the fight against food waste. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of Country Directors and Business Partners to develop and execute business strategies that align with the company's mission. This includes holding full P&L responsibility for a portfolio of countries, driving the overall strategy, and ensuring the delivery of business objectives. The role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in senior management, extensive experience in sales and business development, and a proven track record of data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, particularly in the context of food waste, and a network in the food industry is a strong plus. Key responsibilities for the VP Operations include partnering with Country Directors to steer the business in the right direction, representing the company in strategic meetings, and being a vital member of the COO's management team. The role requires a leader who can recruit and develop the best talent, is adept at negotiation, and has a strong digital background. The candidate should be a coach by nature, with the ability to take on conflict when necessary, and be adept at making trade-off decisions to focus on critical business drivers.
