DIETITIAN CLINICAL
Full Time / 8 Hour Shift Professional Sun Valley, CA, US Salary Range: $38.42 To $44.94 Hourly The CLINICAL DIETITIAN is a member of the patient care team responsible for providing nutritional therapy to patients by assessing nutritional status, developing a plan of care, evaluating the patient’s response to the plan, and modifying the plan as required for optimal outcomes. The role includes counselling patients and families about food requirements, eating habits, and therapeutic nutrition. Responsibilities Complete patient nutritional assessment and establish individualized plans of care. Document assessment, plan, actions, and progress. Develop, review, update, and implement educational materials. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team as an expert on nutrition matters. Obtain and document initial patient assessments, prioritizing care needs. Participate in care planning and patient rounds. Qualifications Valid California Registered Dietitian license. Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field. At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an acute or long‑term care hospital setting. Knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy principles and experience delivering individualized nutritional interventions. Understanding of mandatory mandates governing dietary guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills. Basic computer proficiency.
