Traveling Superintendent, Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent, Commercial Construction, to oversee field operations on commercial building projects across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. Regular travel is required, with assignments varying by project and location.

Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day site operations; coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders; reviewing drawings, scopes of work, and project schedules; and monitoring progress against milestones. Qualified candidates will bring significant commercial construction experience, including a proven record of successfully supervising ground-up, renovation, or tenant improvement projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination is required. The ideal candidate is an organized, decisive, and solutions-focused leader who can manage competing priorities and build productive relationships in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, email, and standard office applications is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant technical training, certifications, or a degree in construction management is an advantage. The ability to travel extensively, work varied hours when project demands require, and maintain a valid driver's license is essential.
