Spectrum of Solutions is searching for a full-time, compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our highly respected team in the Permian Basin (Midland and Odessa) area. The Licensed Psychologist assesses, diagnoses, and treats children or adolescents with neurodevelopmental, mood, anxiety, trauma, and/or behavior disorders. The psychologist provides family-centered services for children and adolescents with mild to severe levels of impairment, working toward individual and family goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders and other mental health disorders.
• Provide individual, parent, and group therapy services.
• Assess suicidality and mitigate risk.
• Provide behavior-based parent training.
• Maintain communication with parents, therapy team members, and school personnel.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
• Advocate for children and adolescents and their families.
• Participate in case reviews or team meetings.
• Collect data to document treatment gains.
• Maintain timely, complete notes and records.
• Provide oversight and support for administrative staff.
• Maintain professionalism at work.
• Maintain ethical practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Graduate degree in psychology and experience with children/adolescents.
• Current licensure as Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate or Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, positive attitude, humor, and openness to new ideas.
• Proficiency with computers and email.

Critical Functions:

• Be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs.
• Be able to run short distances, sit on the floor, bend down, squat, and kneel.
• Administer physical and verbal prompting techniques to increase the child's overall skills & abilities.
• Respond positively and appropriately to child/adolescent behaviors and verbalizations to improve behavior and maximize independent functioning.
