JobID: 53338 Phlebotomist We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to join our team. This role focuses on performing phlebotomy, supporting laboratory operations, and ensuring accurate specimen handling under general supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Draw and process blood samples, ensuring accurate labeling and timely delivery for testing.
- Prepare and package specimens for shipment to outside laboratories.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels in the phlebotomy area.
- Assist laboratory staff with daily operations, including specimen centrifugation and documentation.
- Handle urine specimens and other samples according to established procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required; at least one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in medical software, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at a computer for prolonged periods.
