Location

Fort Walton Beach, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | STEMI Call approximately 10–12 days per month | Self-Scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 7 holding beds, performing and assisting with procedures including PCI, TAVR, PFO closure, Atherectomy, Right/Left Heart Catheterization, Impella/IABP, implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including GE Innova and Impella devices
• Utilize MacLab and Meditech documentation systems accurately and efficiently
• Participate in STEMI call coverage as required (approximately 10–12 days per month)
• Float within related departments including EP Lab and Stress Lab as needed
• Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications and adhere to all unit and hospital guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Proficiency with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced interventional procedures including PCI, PFO closure, and TAVR
• Familiarity with GE Innova imaging systems and MacLab/Meditech documentation platforms
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting
