RN Navigator - Medical Oncology at Providence St. Vincent Medical Office Bldg East Pavilion This is a Per Diem/On-Call, Day Shift position. Minimum of two shifts per pay period. Job Overview The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) serves as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of cancer care. This RN is knowledgeable on the multiple treatment decisions, strong emotions and financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. The ONN will triage the physical, psychological and social needs of the patient and significant others, offering intervention and/or referrals as needed. Primary Goals Enable patients with information and education thus reducing a portion of the stress involved in a cancer diagnosis Empower the patient to participate in their personal care process Improve understanding of their decisions and treatment plans Complete the treatment through the point of survivorship planning (when applicable) Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement Oregon Registered Nurse License (upon hire) National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire) Operating Certificate Number (OCN) within 18 months of hire Three years oncology experience Preferred Qualifications Operating Certificate Number (OCN) upon hire Case management or clinical trial nurse experience Benefits Our benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security. Job Details Work Location: Providence St. Vincent Medical Office Bldg East Pavilion, Portland, OR Pay Range: $50.14 - $77.83 (base salary); additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
