This position will primarily focus on improving how lending works by identifying business problems, prioritizing opportunities, delivering solutions, managing portfolios of work, and ensuring realized business value. This position may act as a liaison between departments and management.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as the business owner for lending process improvements, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.Manage intake, prioritization, and execution of process improvement opportunities.Maintain a portfolio of initiatives, enhancements, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement efforts.Partner with Lending Operations, Lending Information Systems, Product Managers, Risk, Technology, and Business Leaders.Translate business problems into actionable requirements and solution roadmaps.Lead implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, change management, and operational readiness activities.Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, automation, scalability, and customer experience.Ensure delivered solutions achieve expected operational and business outcomes.Support value realization tracking and benefit measurement for implemented solutions.Maintain alignment between strategic objectives, initiatives, and operational execution.Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and small groups.Ability to manage processes and personnel even if those activities and individuals are not directly accountable to the individual from an organizational standpoint.Ability to write correspondence and routine reportsStrong knowledge of financial products and industry best practices and regulatory requirements for model risk management.Education and/or ExperienceBS/BA Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, and8 years of relevant experience in process improvement, project management, lending systems management, or other related fieldComputer SkillsMS Office programsAdvanced PowerPoint Presentation skillsAdvanced knowledge of Smart SheetsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsProject Management Professional designation a plusOther Qualifications (including physical requirements)Strong time management, oral, written and presentation skills.Must demonstrate strong strategic thinking, judgment, motivation, dependability, program management, and analytical skills and qualities.Collaborative mind-set with strong interpersonal skills.OtherPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
