Operations Supervisor - 3rd Shift

It's one way that makes us an actively engaged team, inspired to win together.Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Directly responsible for fabrication employees on assigned shifts including safety, efficiency, accountability and qualityCoordinate operations with dispatch teams, trucking companies and all other logistics groupsPlan and establish work schedules, assignments and shipment and packaging sequences to meet shipment goalsMaintain work flow by monitoring steps of the shipping and/or packaging process and adjusting where needed to ensure UA maintains OTD of 95% or higherEnsures effective communication amongst direct reports and peersAssess and resolve conflict situations in conjunction with Human ResourcesDocument disciplinary contacts and follow UA's progressive disciplinary policy for all direct reportsApprove/Deny vacation requests of direct reports based on company policyEnsure that proper coverage is always availableAble to flex shifts and change work schedule when required or as requestedMaintain positive relationships with all executive staff, managers, supervisors and employeesEnsures compliance and adherence to all company policy and proceduresFollow safe manufacturing practices and promotes a safety cultureConducts 30/60/90-day and annual performance reviews as applicableLeads by example and acts in a professional manner at all timesSuggest ideas for continual improvements and/or cost savingsOther duties as assigned or requestedWhat You'll Bring:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required – Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree Preferred4-5 years of related shipping/logistics leadership experienceAble to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, basic hand tools and air toolsMust have forklift and material handling experienceAbility to effectively communicate through written and oral communicationMust have a valid driver's license with a good driving recordMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds12 Expected Behaviors of Actively Engaged Person: 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and Agile.Benefits:In addition to excellent starting wages, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as numerous perks.Medical, dental and visionGenerous RTO and Vacation policy401(k) with company matchBonus opportunitiesPaid trainingCompany paid holidaysEarn a competitive salary and performance-based bonusesAdditional Information:This will be an onsite position in Seguin, TexasIf selected for the role, a background check will be conducted
