Business Development Representative

Since 2001, Patrick Allen Companies has been outfitting local homes and businesses with high-quality doors and accessories from top manufacturers like CHI and Raynor. We're seeking a confident and capable Business Development Representative to join us full-time and bring new opportunities to the company.

You'll be based in Jackson, MS or the surrounding area, office and will travel throughout Jackson and North MS. Patrick Allen Companies main office is in Meridian, MS with additional locations in Tuscaloosa, AL and Gulfport MS, this is a remote position.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE DETAILS:

Pay: Depending on experience, you'll earn a base salary of $60,000 - $80,000. You'll also make uncapped commission on your sales, adding up to an earning potential of $90,000 to $120,000 in your first year!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. You will travel throughout your territory, and some overnights may be required.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:

Our Business Development Representative is out in the field, actively hunting down potential business opportunities and securing new deals for the company. Your success is in your hands, and we're looking for an ambitious person hungry to hit the ground running and achieve results! You'll travel throughout your assigned area to meet with prospective clients in the distribution, manufacturing, retail, commercial facility, or a similar industrial space. We have an established sales process (powered by Sandler), and you'll follow these methods to close more sales. If you're comfortable with prospecting new clients, creating new relationships, and making new deals, you could do well in this role!

What You Need:

• Current, valid driver's license
• Ability to travel throughout your assigned territory in a company-provided vehicle
• Willingness to occasionally travel overnight (around once per month)

What Would Be Beneficial To Have:

• 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales with a primary focus on new business acquisition
• Sales experience in a field like industrial equipment, commercial construction, facility maintenance, automotive, distribution, food, chemical, or building systems
• Knowledge about the overhead door, dock system, or life-safety industries
• Existing relationships within relevant industries you can build on
