Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a 6-bed PACU unit, maintaining primarily 1:1 patient ratios
• Monitor and document patient recovery using Space Labs monitoring equipment and the Paragon EHR system
• Respond to patient needs across a range of surgical cases including orthopedic, OB/GYN, and general surgery procedures at a Trauma Level 3 facility
• Participate in call requirements, including 4 call shifts per month with one weekend of call
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to the Paragon EHR system
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong PACU background with experience caring for both adult and pediatric post-surgical patients
• Familiarity with Space Labs monitoring equipment
• Experience working in a teaching hospital or Trauma Level 3 environment
