Sign Language Teacher

Faith Learning School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sign Language Teacher to join our early childhood enrichment team. This position involves leading a one-hour Sign Language lesson once per week for our Pre-K students. Position Overview We are looking for someone who is passionate about early learning and able to introduce American Sign Language (ASL) through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will create a fun and interactive learning experience that helps children build early communication skills, increase language awareness, and develop respect for diverse forms of communication. Responsibilities Teach a 1-hour weekly ASL class to Pre-K children Introduce basic signs through songs, stories, movement, and hands-on activities Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Collaborate with classroom teachers to reinforce signs throughout the week Provide simple take-home practice materials as needed Arrive prepared and maintain a consistent weekly schedule Qualifications Experience working with young children (Preschool/Pre-K preferred) Knowledge of American Sign Language Ability to engage children through creative instruction Reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic about early childhood education If you are passionate about early learning and ready to make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr FAITH LUTHERAN SCHOOL OF REDMOND
