Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This position requires a 12-hour day shift. Flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed is essential.

A Registered Nurse is needed to provide care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn areas. The facility averages 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month. The nurse may be required to serve as a charge nurse on occasion after completing charge nurse training.

Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum rooms

Assist with newborn care in the nursery room

Perform charge nurse duties as required

Minimum of 5 years of recent nursing experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care

American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM certifications required

RNC-EFM may be substituted for AWHONN FHM certification

This is a 13-week contract position.
