Training Specialist

Lithium Nevada, a development-stage company of Lithium Americas, is committed to building a responsible and sustainable lithium supply for the growing energy storage and electric transportation sectors. As we advance Thacker Pass —the largest known lithium reserve in the U.S.—we’re looking for a Training Specialist to join our team and help drive operations forward. In This Role, You Will Collaborate with the Training Superintendent and department leaders to implement, evaluate, and continuously improve training programs for Thacker Pass employees, contractors, and vendors. Design and update training materials, job aids, and On-the-Job (OJT) guides aligned with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Manage and maintain training records, schedules, and content within the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align training expectations and standards. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in training within mining or chemical processing environments Strong communication and facilitation skills Experience designing and coordinating OJT and compliance-based programs Commitment to safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement Why Lithium Americas?
