GENERAL SUMMARY: Schedule: Full Time Location: Southfield Manages the daily operations of pharmacy services. PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES: Develops and implements performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and Pharmacoeconomics. Conducts competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Develops and manages departmental budget to promote Pharmacoeconomics. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required. 3 years of hospital experience required. Compounding oversight experience preferred USP797, USP 795 and USP 800. Demonstration of increasing responsibility / oversight in past roles preferred. Advanced degree or Master's degree preferred. PGY1 Residency training or equivalent experience preferred. 2-3 years of leadership experience preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Pharmacist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. - Board certification in Oncology or Sterile Compounding preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
