Gastroenterology Physician

Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology Job Details: Provide clinic coverage for gastroenterology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month; multiple providers will be considered See approximately 9 advanced cases per day with a patient population of adults ages 18 and older (average patient age of 58) Primary focus on advanced gastroenterology procedures including ERCP (general and therapeutic) and EUS Provide support to call team by adding urgent inpatient cases to the schedule; this is not an on-call position Work alongside a robust support team including APPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs across three GI locations Two APPs trained in advanced GI perform preliminary patient evaluations prior to scheduling with the advanced physician EMR system: Cerner Board certification required Active state license required; IMLC candidates or candidates qualifying for WV licensure will be considered DEA required BLS and ACLS certifications required Full travel paid Facility: This is a well-established hospital-based gastroenterology program offering advanced procedural services across multiple GI locations.
