Job Summary

This position involves working in the Halfway House during the season and the Paddle House out of season. The Halfway House is a small building on our golf course where members, their guests, and caddies can order food, drinks, and snacks. Attendants are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and caring for members, caddies, and guests. The Paddle House, located on the back end of our golf course, has its own kitchen and bar area. Attendants will maintain cleanliness, serve, and bartend. Employees represent the club and should exceed member expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Display excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with members, guests, caddies, and fellow employees.
Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing positive relationships with members and guests.
Deliver exceptional experiences constantly.
Keep the working environment safe and presentable.
Use the POS system to take orders.
Cook and prepare foods such as hotdogs and guacamole at the Halfway House.
Serve hotdogs, sandwiches, refreshments, and snacks at the Halfway House.
Serve various food and drink items at the Paddle House.
Serve alcoholic beverages at both locations.
Excel in the delivery of food and beverages to members, guests, and caddies.
Possess a desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast-paced environment.
Work with a small team or on their own once fully trained.
Complete potential side work pre- or post-shift.
Own every member request.
Provide friendly and attentive service.
Perform any other duties assigned by Food and Beverage Managers, Director, or Assistant General Manager.

Availability

Must be available to work nights, weekends, club events, and most holidays all year round.

Qualifications

Adequate level of POS/computer skills.
21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license.
Upbeat, outgoing positive attitude.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
Food Handler/Basset Certified (courses provided if needed).
Desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 35lbs.
Ability to work effectively with a team and on their own.
Willingness to learn.
Experience in private clubs is a plus.
Advanced wine and spirits knowledge is a plus.

Compensation

Hourly rate of $20/hr.
