IT Support Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing intelligence sector, is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join their team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT support department supporting employees and global IT teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Pay Range: $24-26 per Hour

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Provide first-level IT Service Desk support for employee incidents and service requests.
• Utilize the IT service management platform (ServiceNow) to log, track, update, and resolve support tickets while maintaining accurate documentation and timely communication.
• Support M&A onboarding activities, including Day 1 employee readiness, workstation deployment, account validation, and basic IT setup.
• Configure and deploy Windows PCs, including standard Windows 11 installation, device configuration, user login verification, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 0 - 1 year of related experience.
• Business-level English communication skills, with the ability to effectively support employees and collaborate with global IT teams.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows-based workstations, including device setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and peripheral connectivity.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
