Position Overview We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of our expanding team, committed to delivering top-tier imaging services. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct essential diagnostic imaging procedures, collaborating with a supportive healthcare team, and offering reassuring insights to your patients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations including abdominal, gynecological, obstetric, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout procedures, providing clear explanations with empathy
- Work closely with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Document all procedures accurately and manage patient records via electronic medical systems
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Either an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
