Aircraft Mechanic I - PBMF Phase Bay Electrician

ATS is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I to work in Fort Campbell, KY. The Aircraft Mechanic I avionic/electrician maintains and troubleshoots SOF peculiar aircraft MDS type MH6/MH47/MH60, as it pertains to electrical and avionics systems, sub‑systems, communications, navigation systems, weapons, and aircraft survivability equipment. Responsibilities This mechanic will be required to repair and replace aircraft wiring, replace aircraft components and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed or as instructed in technical publications and IETMS. This mechanic will assist with the teardown, inspection, and repair of the aircraft during phase maintenance events. The mechanic will need to be able to use a multi‑meter as well as other standard avionic test sets to maintain and trouble‑shoot aircraft systems. This worker reads schematics, interprets maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. This mechanic must be able to perform administrative actions when it comes to aircraft forms and records on systems being utilized by the organization. Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license. Must possess or be able to obtain a secret security clearance. Must have own tools/toolbox. 6+ years' experience in Army aviation. SOF aviation experience is desirable. Experience with MH6/MH47/MH60 aircraft desired. Experience with ACN or other electronic logbook systems. Must have or be able to pass Basic solder certification. Must be able to pass solder vision testing. Must be able to pass a basic physical to be a part of an aircraft towing team.
