Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Grand Island, NE. This role involves working in SNF and Home Health settings, providing a dynamic work environment and an opportunity to supervise COTAs. This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours, focused on therapeutic interventions and client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

• Administer and perform therapeutic interventions with clients
• Assess client needs and develop corresponding therapy plans
• Maintain client's self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality
• Document observations and services provided
• Notify physician of changes and process orders accordingly
• Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment
• Supervise therapy assistants following Federal and State regulations
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist

• BLS Certification
• Certification for the state of practice
• Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program preferred
• Experience in a rehabilitation/geriatrics setting preferred
• Basic speech/language pathology skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
