This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.Panelmatic is seeking skilled Fabrication Welders to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will fabricate and weld sheet metal components used in electrical enclosures and metal structures. This position requires precision, strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Job Duties:Interpret shop drawings and welding symbols to perform accurate weldsPerform MIG welding (mild and stainless steel), including spray transferSet up, align, tack, and weld components to meet dimensional specificationsConduct fit-up, cope, and layout work for assembliesOperate fabrication tools and equipment (grinders, torches, plasma cutters, etc.)Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specificationsPerform grinding, finishing, and weld repairs as neededMaintain dimensional accuracy (square, plumb, alignment) throughout fabricationCollaborate with team members and notify inspectors when work is readyFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
