Critical Care/Intensivist Physician CaroMont Health Outstanding opportunity for BE / BC Critical Care / Intensivist Physician to join CaroMont Critical Care Specialists (CCCS), an established and fast-paced practice. CaroMont Regional Medical Center, an independent, not-for-profit general and acute care facility in Gastonia, NC, is located about 15 miles west of Charlotte. CCCS is a 4 Physician, Intensivist-only group providing 24/7 critical care coverage in a closed-unit hospital setting. Physicians work 24hr shifts, averaging 8 shifts per month, with NP coverage at night from 7pm to 7am. Coverage includes Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and Neurosurgical patients with high acuity critical care management. CCCS has the support of over 400 active medical staff physicians representing all major medical sub-specialties. Our new critical care tower which opened in early 2023, hosts 78 beds, including 52 acute unit beds and 26 step-down beds. This will be an employed opportunity and will offer a competitive compensation package including sign on bonus, productivity/incentive bonus potential, NPPD (Non-Productive Paid Day), generous benefits and a relocation allowance.
