Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient care in a clinical environment. The COTA will assist with implementing therapy plans and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists to execute treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  
  
• 
  Assist patients with therapeutic activities and exercises to promote recovery.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and safe treatment area, adhering to infection control standards.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all healthcare regulations and documentation requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  
  
• 
  Current state licensure or certification as required.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience assisting with occupational therapy treatments.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of therapy techniques, evaluation tools, and documentation protocols.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
