Maintenance Mechanic I

Maintenance Mechanic I Responsible for repair, installation and general upkeep of manufacturing machinery and/or facility. Works within a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives. Maintains work area cleanliness. Roles and Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants or filters, following a set schedule Perform facility maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, painting, replacing filters, painting, simple plumbing etc. Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment using manual and power tools Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex manufacturing or facility equipment Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Experience: One (1) year relevant experience Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions Basic math, computer and time-management skills Ability to self-direct work to complete project within defined time frame Knowledge of machine repair, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, mill-wright and/or general maintenance Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds Target Hiring Range: USD 0.00 - USD 0.00 Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
