Application Developer Co-op

We are looking for highly motivated student to join our team as Application Developer Co-op from January- August 2027.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Support the development, testing, and enhancement of business applications and software solutions.
• Write, test, troubleshoot, and maintain code using languages and tools such as C#, XML, SQL, and related technologies.

• Support software quality assurance, testing, debugging, and issue resolution.

• Work with data to develop reports, dashboards, and other solutions that support business decision-making.

• Collaborate with developers, business partners, and other team members throughout the development process.

• Use tools such as Jira, Git, and approved AI tools to support development, documentation, and project work.

• Identify opportunities to improve or automate existing applications, processes, and reporting solutions.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or similar degree with technical aptitude)

• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters

• Experience with object-oriented programming through coursework, projects, or previous work.

• Familiarity with C#, SQL, XML, or similar programming languages and technologies.

• Exposure to software development tools and practices such as Git, Jira, testing, debugging, and version control.

• Familiarity with databases, structured data, and querying data using SQL.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an interest in developing technical solutions.

• Ability to collaborate on projects and communicate effectively with both technical and business partners.

• Exposure to Power BI, Python, data visualization, or AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $20.00/hour - $28.00/hour and is based on position and academic year.

In addition to competitive pay, co-ops receive paid time off for company-observed holidays and are eligible for additional financial support through a housing allowance or sign-on bonus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
