Cook Position at Northland Medical Center

Fairview is seeking a cook for Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN! This is a part-time opportunity on evening shift offering 56 hours over a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible!

Prepare food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

Typical work schedule:

Week 1:

Tuesday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Wednesday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Saturday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Sunday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Week 2:

Wednesday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Thursday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Friday: 10:30am-7:00pm

Responsibilities

• Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.
• Develops and tests recipes as directed.
• Completes all documentation related to production
• Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures
• Follows employee health guidelines to prevent disease transmission.
• Follows procedures to prevent food contamination.
• Coordinates and communicates with all internal customers in all service areas.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.
• Takes responsibility for self and others in work area.
• Contributes to a safe work environment
• Demonstrates commitment to customers

Required Qualifications

• 1 year relevant experience
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
• Basic math skills.
• Certified or willing to become certified for food safety.
