Responsibilities As a new Full-Time Dental Assistant, your daily routine will be rewarding and engaging. Greet young patients with a warm smile to help them feel comfortable and excited about their visits. Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth operation while keeping the atmosphere light and fun. A typical day includes preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and taking dental x-rays. Explain treatment plans to parents and help children understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions. While prior dental assisting experience is preferred, we are excited to train the right individual who is eager to learn. Key skills include knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, and a solid understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to perform prophylaxis and take digital radiographs; good computer skills are essential. Your communication and people skills, attention to detail, organization, integrity, and teamwork are crucial.
