We’re hiring a passionate product leader to shape the strategy, amplify its impact across the company, and accelerate Stripe’s mission to help internet businesses grow faster. What you’ll doAs the product manager on the Mobile team, you will be accountable for making the mobile app indispensable for startup founders and business owners. How do we get every YC founder to use the app? How can we increase usage across different geographies? How can we get more product teams to contribute to the app? In other words, your role is to ensure founders and business owners are more successful when they use the mobile app. Responsibilities Deeply understand the needs of founders and business owners and identify the unique superpowers mobile can deliver for themArticulate the mobile strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and furiously execute to deliver user valueCraft powerful product experiences with surprisingly great details Steer the broader organization to understand and build for mobile use casesCollaborate with the go-to-market team to ensure the mobile app is discoverable and compellingWho you areWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirements8+ years of product management or product-focused founder experiencePersistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product is successfulStrong understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles and best practicesTechnical familiarity with mobile development, cross-platform architectures, and machine learningAbility to collaborate with engineering and design across time zones (PST, EST, CET)Preferred qualificationsFounder background, or experience in a very early stage company environmentBuilt award-winning mobile apps in the pastBelieve that fast software is the best software
